Troop 103 Scouts, Parents, Committee,
The scouts have selected the Appalachian Trail in the Michaux State Forest as their next hiking destination and Oct. 4-5th as the dates. On Sat., Oct. 4, 2014, they will hike approx. 10 miles south on the AT from Pine Grove Furnace State Park to Birch Run Shelter, where they will spend the night. The next morning they will continue to hike south for another 10 miles and end at Caledonia State Park. Each hiker will need a sleeping bag and food for Saturday and Sunday.
