The New Birth of Freedom Council is the result of the April 1, 2010 merger of the former Keystone Area (Mechanicsburg) and York-Adams Area (York) Councils.

The Sasquesahanough Lodge is the Order of the Arrow lodge chartered under the New Birth of Freedom Council, BSA. The Sasquesahanough Lodge was formed from the consolidation of Susquehannock (Keystone Area Council) and Tuckahoe (York-Adams Area Council) lodges.

It is the mission of our Lodge to achieve the purpose of the Order of the Arrow as an integral part of the Boy Scouts of America in the council through positive youth leadership under the guidance of selected capable adults.
