Eagle Scout Andrew Wetzel — 6/15/2021

Troop 103 Scouts, Parents, Committee and Friends,

This evening (6/15/2021) Troop 103 Scout Andrew Wetzel was awarded the rank of Eagle Scout, becoming Troop 103’s 88th Eagle Scout.  Andrew’s Eagle Scout Service Project was called “Helping Hands”.  Andrew designed a food can rotator system for the Food Pantry at the Hanover Council of Churches, where he has volunteered over the years.  He then led others in the construction of the can rotator system.  He was proud to report this evening that his Project was well-received by the Council of Churches.

Andrew is a former Troop 103 Senior Patrol Leader and has a gift working with younger scouts.  He has loved camping with the Troop.  His favorite Troop outings were to Puzzle Lake in Canada, Sea Base in the Florida Keys, and to Virginia Beach.  Anyone who knows Andrew can attest to his enthusiasm for his scouting experience!

Andrew graduated from South Western High School and will be studying Aviation Maintenance and Technology at the Pennsylvania College of Technology (Penn Tech) in Williamsport, PA, in the fall.  Please join me in congratulating Andrew and in thanking the Hanover Council of Churches, donors, family members, friends, leaders, scouts and others who helped make these accomplishments possible.  Please enjoy the attached photos of our proud Eagle Scout (and his dad).  We are very proud of you Andrew, keep up the great work!

Thank you,

– Jeff
