WHY

A dinner is being held on October 11, 2008 at Saint Joseph Parish to celebrate the longevity of two organizations. The Holy Name Society will be honored for eighty-five years of faith-filled service to our parish and Boy Scout Troop 103 will celebrate ninety years of continuous service to the youth in our community. All SCOUTS, FORMER SCOUTS, HOLY NAME MEMBERS, THEIR FAMILIES, PARISHIONERS and FRIENDS of the community are invited.

All past presidents of the Holy Name Society will be recognized as well as former Scoutmasters, Eagle Scouts and charter members of the original Troop. Many dignitaries have been invited to attend.

WHERE & WHEN

The banquet is being held in the Msgr. Gribbin Parish Center Social Hall with the opening ceremony at 3:15 PM. Doors will be open at 2:15 PM for socializing and viewing displays. The dinner and program will conclude by 5:45 PM in order to attend Mass at 6:00 PM in the church.

1. Via the United States Postal Service by sending your requests to Troop Anniversary Dinner in care of Saint Joseph Administrative Center at 5125 Grandview Road in Hanover, PA 17331. Please include your name, address, telephone number, quantity of tickets and check made payable to St. Joseph Boy Scout Troop 103.
2. If you are a member of the Saint Joseph Parish family, you can purchase tickets by placing an envelope in the collection basket. Please include your name, telephone number, quantity of tickets and check made payable to St. Joseph Boy Scout Troop 103. Mark the outside of the envelope with “Troop Anniversary Dinner”.
